Cyril spent an incredible 91 days at sea, travelling 2,400 miles from Monterey to Hilo. During that time he battled leaks that flooded compartments in his kayak as well as brushes with tropical storms and food rationing.

So why did he do it?

“Before leaving I couldn’t really explain why I wanted to take on this challenge, but I finally found all the answers to my questions on the water. I loved sharing my trip with all those who followed me on the map or the social networks.”

Ever Considered an Electric Outboard?

Rupert Holmes recently reviewed the latest innovation from French company TEMO, their electric outboard the TEMO 1000.

The TEMO 1000 is intended for tenders and as auxiliary propulsion for lightweight sailboats and incorporates a range of cool features that are making this new addition to the TEMO family an increasingly popular option for electric outboard lovers.

At the time of writing this, it is only available for pre-order. But well worth a look all the same!
